about

Rare collection of early previously unreleased material originally recorded between 1994-1997.Only 30 or so cassettes were made and hand distributed amungst a few friends and labels within the San Diego area, includeing the now defunct Vinyl Communications Label out of Chula Vista CA.

All of the material dureing this period was recorded useing low fi analog 4 track recorders,an array of home made sample tapes cut and spliced to create sequenced drum loops, along side an old Amiga Commodore 500 used for "programming" and "Sampling".Vocals themselves were recorded either at friends houses or abandoned buildings useing low budget hand held analog cassette recorders.

Though the original cassettes for Inquisition IV have long been distributed I do have plans to eventually remaster one of the last remaining copies and offer a free digital download of the release here.

*Note : Material from "Inquisition IV" should be seen not as a release itself but more so as a pre introduction into the earliest beginnings of the project as the direction of the material then has little in common with what is currently being created.
